We can assist you to develop your workplace drug and alcohol testing policies to help make drug screening a seamless part of your health and safety procedures.
Pre-employment drug screening

Oral fluid (Saliva) testing
Oral fluids also known as ‘Saliva Test’ is a quick and easy way to test for impairment caused by drugs or alcohol in the workplace. It is less invasive than other methods and can be carried out on site with results available almost instantly. Oral fluid testing is a useful steppingstone before pursuing further drug screening—if necessary.
With the possible looming changes to cannabis laws in New Zealand the saliva test will be a crucial tool for reducing risk onsite, where there is risk of impairment due to cannabis use and social, legal (if legalised) use outside of work.
